Current President – Gianna Voce

Hi! I’m the 2024-2025 vice president for InfoSec! I’m a junior double majoring in computer science and neuroscience from Washington DC. I first joined when I transferred to Syracuse after my freshman year, and I had so much fun learning and teaching cybersecurity. Other than ISC, I’m the assistant managing editor for Perception Magazine, a writer for Major Magazine, and part of the club ski team. Current Vice President – Daniella Lat

Hi all! I’m a junior majoring in computer science. I joined InfoSec freshman year and I’ve had a great time meeting new people and learning about cybersecurity! Within cyber, I’m am exploring new areas, particularly in penetration testing and reverse engineering – my favorite ways to practice are NCL and Cisco’s Networking Challenge. On campus, I’m also involved with Innovate Orange (CuseHacks) as Treasurer and AOE chapter (professional sorority). Currently, I am working towards starting a WiCyS chapter at Syracuse to increase engagement in cybersecurity. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer and spending time with my family and friends . Current Treasurer – Stephen Santilli

Hi I’m Stephen! I’m a junior studying computer science and I’ve been in ISC for two years now. I found my love for cybersecurity in the club and have experience doing web application penetration testing. Outside of ISC, I do advertising and fundraising at The Daily Orange.


Current Secretary – Jason Riek 

Hi, My name is Jason Riek and I am a sophomore computer science student. In my free time, I love to play soccer, watch sports and spend time with friends.


Current Competition Lead- Townsend Southard Pantano

Grad student doing a 4+1 at Syracuse, majoring in computer science, interested in reverse engineering, software obfuscation, Linux Outside the club, I enjoy skiing, racing for the Syracuse Club Ski Team


Current Lab Tech – Spencer Evans-Cole

Hi! I am a senior studying computer science and mathematics. I joined InfoSec in my sophomore year, and I have had such a rewarding time learning cybersecurity concepts and competing against other schools! My favorite part of InfoSec is maintaining our lab and utilizing all our various tools to simulate a real topology and create engaging activities for our club. Outside InfoSec, I am involved in numerical linear algebra research in the mathematics department and am an avid marathon runner.


Assistant Professor, Syracuse University School of Information Studies – Bahram Attaie

Bahram is an assistant professor of practice at Syracuse University’s School of Information Studies (iSchool) and has been teaching Information Technology at Syracuse University since 1995. More recently he has been specializing in cybersecurity, and in 2015 he was the director of the Northeast Collegiate Cybersecurity Defense Competition (NECCDC) hosted by the iSchool. He was also coach of the Syracuse University team that won the 2018 National Cyber Analyst Challenge. Although he retired from full time teaching in December of 2017, he remains very active in cybersecurity and continues to teach part time as an adjunct professor and faculty advisor of the InfoSec club.
