Mock Trial at Syracuse University is where aspiring advocates sharpen their skills, future leaders find their voice, and Orange pride meets courtroom excellence.
The organization brings together students from across campus who share a passion for critical thinking, spirited debate, and the art of persuasion. Competing in the American Mock Trial Association, the teams face off against programs from across the region, building the kind of teamwork, quick thinking, and courtroom presence that translates far beyond mock trials.
Beyond competition, the Trial Advocacy Program opens the world of litigation to the entire Syracuse community. The program is built on the belief that everyone should have the chance to develop their voice, understand the legal system, and discover their potential as an advocate.
From regional tournaments to local workshops, Mock Trial at Syracuse University cultivates advocates, communicators, and ethical leaders. It’s a home for persuasive storytelling, intellectual sparring, and the occasional well-timed “Objection, Your Honor!”
