Soldering Event with IEEE
Interested in learning a foundational engineering skill? Join SHPE for our Beginner Soldering Workshop, designed specifically for students who have never soldered before.
This hands on lab session will introduce you to the basics of soldering, including safety techniques, how to properly use a soldering iron, and how to create clean and reliable electrical connections. Our team will guide you step by step as you practice on a simple circuit and build confidence in the lab.
No prior experience is required. All materials will be provided. Just bring yourself and a willingness to learn.

This is a collab that we have every other week with NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers). This takes place in the Campos Center and anyone is welcome to join as we study and do our homework in solidarity.
