Who We Are
We are the Syracuse University chapter of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), a national organization dedicated to empowering women to achieve their full potential in careers as engineers and leaders. Our chapter brings together students of all backgrounds who are passionate about innovation, community, and growth in STEM.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support and inspire women in engineering through professional development academic resources, and social connection. We strive to create an inclusive environment where members can build confidence, leadership skills, and lifelong friendships.
What We Do
Throughout the year, our chapter hosts a wide range of events, including:
- Professional Development Panels with industry experts and alumni.
- Conference Trips to SWE National and WE Local events.
- Social Events like Friendsgiving, movie nights, and our annual apple picking trip.
